Alex Sloan retired in September 2009 to concentrate on his other interests. We wish him and Sheila all the best for their retirement. Alex's share in the company has been taken over by Adrian Goodall. Alex said: "We are confident that with these employees and the guidance and leadership provided by Derek and Adrian, Galloway Timbers will go on to another level, and I wish them all the very best in doing so."
Adrian has a long experience of the building trade. Alex describes him as "...the ideal person to take the business on. He has a great depth of knowledge of the trade...I am delighted that Derek Robison, my co-director and very good freind, will have such an experienced and dynamic business partner in the business to drive it forward."

Galloway Timbers (Manufacturing) Limited was founded by Alex Sloan and Derek Robison in 2000. Calling on a combination of over 40 years experience in kit houses and the building and construction industry. Galloway Timbers (Manufacturing) Limited was born out of what was seen as a lack of good quality, easily accessible and value for money timber frame kit homes.
Since then the business has expanded to include all types of building work, including plant hire, ground works, site preparation, foundations, block work, joinery manufacture, roofing and tiling, private, civil and commercial works undertaken and all trades supplied. From receipt of your approved drawings, Galloway Timbers (Manufacturing) Limited can undertake the entire building process for you. Be it a single home or a complete housing development.
